It is my belief that the best way to learn, is to first watch and observe then put into practice. This is how we learn as babies and young children and this is the basis in which I teach. I have held a number of live painting demonstrations where I take viewers through the stages of an oil painting from start to completion. This is an incredibly unique and valuable experience for anyone wanting to learn, understand and master the fundamental laws of oil painting.

The tutorials will be two hours of painting. You will benefit from one to one tutoring from a professional artist, a different subject to study each week, and two hours to relax and be creative. This course will greatly benefit beginners and the more advanced covering Colour theory, preparing your canvas, sketching your subject, proportion, the golden section, what tools and which mediums to use. .
